Restorative/Yin Yoga facilitates a relaxing and restorative space to address stress and reduce the reaction to tension and pressures. It is a meditative, slow and passive practice, where we hold traditional Kemetic and Hatha asanas(postures) for 2-4mins emphasizing the four point breathing method and relaxation for rejuvenation.
Through geometric progression and intentional breathing, we move and circulate life force, strengthen the respiratory system, activate the circulatory, parasympathetic nervous system, thyroid and glandular system, massage internal organs and apply moderate pressure to connective tissues increasing flexibility and equanimity.
